The Palace Diner was built in Lowell, Massachusetts in 1927 by the Pollard Company. It has been in Biddeford, Maine for its entire life and is one of two Pollard cars remaining in America. Greg Mitchell and Chad Conley are its sixth proprietors. The entrepreneurial couple met while farming at Four Season Farm in Harborside, Maine. After discovering a shared passion for quality food, simple, delicious cooking and ’90s rap music, they fulfilled their dream of owning and operating a classic diner. They strive every day to make the most delicious food they know how to in an environment that is warm, fun and welcoming to all.
